INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS > THE NETHERLANDS PROJECT
More than 12 years’ students and teachers exchange program between Bonifatius College, Utrecht and Sch 155 was effective thanks to the efforts and initiative of Jan Schroten, Dirk Van Der Meer, Franz Schleijpen and many of their colleagues. The beginning: 1991 – The fascinating Sch. 155 – Utrecht gymnasia project starts. The Official delegation of Utrecht civil servants invites teachers of Sch. 155 to teach at Utrecht Schools for ten days. The successful project resulted into a long term friendship between teachers and students of Sch. 155 and St. Bonifatius College and Chritallic gymnasia of Utrecht. 1993 – The group of the Dutch teachers from Utrecht comes to Sch. 155 to teach at Sch. 155. 1994 The students of St. Bonifatius College and Chritallic gymnasia from Utrecht join the project. For more than twelve years the students – project participants were involved in joint educational programs – studying in the classrooms and accomplishing educational assignments. Every exchange visit is covered with the joint students’ project work. The presentations cover the students’ impressions and discoveries from the program. Nobody forgot about having fun. Learning culture and sharing national values were the priorities of the exchange projects. Friendship never ends. News plans are being discussed. |
