The students of Friedrich Ebert Gymnasium (FEG, Bonn, Germany) and English Language School # 155 (SCH 155, Kyiv, Ukraine) have accomplished the first stage of joint chemistry study project. The students presented their first results of joint researches and comparison of chemical components - German and Ukrainian bleaches - in households. The main means of students communication was I-net.

WHY DO WE DO THAT?

We want:

• to increase students awareness of the importance of chemistry in our everyday lives,
• to increase students understanding of how to live safely with chemistry,
• to show that chemical substances can mix or combine to form new products,
• to compare aspects of applications of chemistry in different countries.
